

ABOUT US
The Field of Dreams Sonoma Board of Directors is made up of dedicated, local volunteers who are deeply rooted in our community. This hands-on board manages every aspect of the facility—from day-to-day maintenance and scheduling of user groups to fundraising efforts and long-term planning. In close partnership with the City of Sonoma, the board is actively working on a comprehensive master plan to renovate and improve the complex, with a strong focus on enhancing accessibility and ensuring the space continues to serve the evolving needs of our community.

What is your current role outside of the Board? Owner of Canning Electric Inc. and part owner of City View Commissary, City View Storage and Tyrone Group

What inspired you to get involved with Field of Dreams? The old board were stepping down and I believe the facility is vital to the kids of Sonoma, providing development through sports

What do you hope to contribute as a board member? I hope to bring a practical, long-term perspective to the board. I aim to contribute to the growth of FOD by enhancing its programs and building strong partnerships to provide even more opportunities for the community to enjoy and benefit from this space

Do you bring an specific expertise (ex. finance, marketing, legal etc) to the board? I bring strong experience in business management, overseeing operations and growth strategies. Being involved in multiple businesses, I’ve developed skills in leadership, problem-solving, and building partnerships

Have you served (or currently serve) on any other boards or committees? ABC Apprenticeship Board, United Irish Cultural Center Board , Sonoma Valley United Soccer and Building Safety Alliance

Any hobbies, passions or interests outside of work? I’ve been actively involved in several local associations, including Angels of East Africa, where I helped build schools and orphanages, take kids off the front lines, and provide them with shelter and education.

What inspired you to get involved with Field of Dreams? I joined the board of Field of Dreams board right before the pandemic, and while it was a challenging time for everyone, it reinforced just how important spaces like this are for our community. The opportunity to help create a place where kids can play, connect, and thrive, especially after such a difficult period, has been incredibly meaningful to me. I was inspired to get involved because I believe in the power of sports and recreation to bring people together and make a lasting impact.

As a board member, I aim to ensure the long-term sustainability of Field of Dreams Sonoma by maintaining the fields and planning for future community needs. My goal is to help create a well-managed space that serves athletes and families for years to come.

My focus is on strengthening connections within the community, ensuring the fields serve local needs, and helping the organization thrive for the benefit of everyone involved.
